How to run the raffle
- Fill in the event, the prize, the date of the draw and the price, choose the first number and how many tickets you need.
- Print on card stock or colored paper, then cut along the dashed lines.
- When you sell a ticket, write the buyer's details on the stub, tear or cut along the stub line, and keep the stub.
- Put all the stubs in a box or a bowl and draw the winners. The matching number on the ticket proves who won.
Before you sell tickets
Raffles count as gambling in most places. In many US states only nonprofits and charities may hold them, and some require a license or limit the prizes, so check your state's rules before selling tickets to the public.
