Ideas for instant-style prints
- A photo wall: hang them on string lights or twine with mini clothespins.
- A wedding or party guest book: print photos from the day and let guests write a message in the wide bottom border.
- Christmas: slip one into a card, tie one to a present instead of a gift tag, or make an advent garland of 24 favorite photos from the year.
- Scrapbooks, journals and lockers: the mini size fits almost anywhere.
Tips for a real instant-film look
- Print on matte photo paper or bright white card stock: it is easier to write on than glossy paper.
- Write in the bottom border with a fine permanent marker: a date, a place or a short message.
- Choose Fill so each photo covers its square window; use Fit only if the picture must not be cropped.
- Cut along the light gray lines with a paper trimmer for straight edges, and round the corners slightly with scissors if you like.
Polaroid is a trademark of Polaroid B.V. and Instax is a trademark of Fujifilm. Home Print Kit is not affiliated with either; the sizes are given so you can match their look.
