Your addresses never leave your device. The labels are made right here in your browser, so nothing is uploaded or stored.

How it works

Add the addresses

Type them with an empty line between addresses, paste cells from Excel or Google Sheets, or import a CSV or a contacts file (.vcf).

Pick the look

Choose the sheet, font, color and an optional picture. The preview shows each sheet as it will print.

Test, then print

Print the first page on plain paper at 100% (Actual size), hold it against a label sheet up to the light, then print on the labels.

Why print your labels here

Import your list

Paste cells from Excel or Google Sheets, or import a CSV from Google Contacts or Outlook, or a vCard from your phone's or Mac's contacts. Columns are recognized from the header row.

Layouts that line up

Every sheet layout was measured against the manufacturer's template, with a printer adjustment if your printer feeds a little off.

Your list stays private

Address lists are personal. They are read by your own browser and never uploaded, stored or shared.

Free, with pictures

Fonts, colors and small pictures for holiday and wedding labels, or your own logo, with no watermark.

Label sheets you can print on

Choose the number printed on your pack. Each US sheet also matches several other product numbers with the same layout, listed in the table. For any other sheet, choose Custom size and type its measurements.

Importing addresses from a spreadsheet or your contacts

The tool reads the first row of a spreadsheet as column names and builds each label from them. It understands the usual names, such as Name or First name and Last name, Company, Address or Street, Address 2 or Apt, City, State, ZIP and Country, plus the columns in Google Contacts and Outlook exports. The country line is left out for US addresses.

  • Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers: select the cells including the header row, copy, and paste them into the Addresses box.
  • Google Contacts: Export, then choose Google CSV or vCard, and import the file.
  • iPhone or Mac contacts: on iCloud.com or in the Contacts app on a Mac, select the contacts and export them as a vCard, then import the .vcf file. Contacts without a postal address are skipped.

The addresses appear in the box as text, so you can fix a typo or remove someone before printing. Excel often drops the leading zero of ZIP codes in the Northeast (02116 becomes 2116); four-digit US ZIP codes are fixed automatically. More in how to print labels from Excel.

Labels that line up

  • Print at 100%. In the print dialog choose Actual size, 100% or Custom 100, and turn off Fit to page or Fit to printable area. Scaling is the most common reason labels drift.
  • Test on plain paper first. Hold the test page against a label sheet in front of a window. If everything is off by the same amount, enter it under Printer adjustment.
  • Drift that grows down the page means the page was scaled or the paper fed at an angle. Check the 100% setting, and square the stack against the paper guide.
  • Load the sheet the right way up. Most printers print on the side facing down in the tray, but many rear and manual feeds print on the side facing up. Mark a plain sheet with an X to find out.
  • Use the right labels for your printer: labels for laser printers can smudge in an inkjet printer and the other way round. The pack says which printers it is made for.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit. The site is paid for by ads.

Do I need Microsoft Word?

No. The labels are made in your browser and downloaded as a PDF that any computer or phone can print.

Are my addresses uploaded?

No. The addresses you type, paste or import are read by your own browser and the PDF is created on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I print on a sheet I already used?

Yes. Click the first free label in the preview, or type its number in Start at label. Labels are numbered across, then down.

What is Post office style?

Capital letters with no commas or periods. The US Postal Service prefers uppercase addresses and asks for no commas or periods, because its machines read them most reliably. Normal capitalization also works.

Which fonts are best for addresses?

Clean and Classic are the easiest to read, for people and for the post office's machines. Script looks lovely on return labels and invitations; keep it large enough to read.

Printing straight on envelopes?

Skip the labels: print the recipient and your return address on #10, A7, A2 and other envelopes.
